2020 Update
During this new time in the world and the threat of COVID-19 we are happy to let all our guests know, Inn the Woods Suites is open. As a small family run business, we pride ourselves with continuing our practice of always detail cleaning our suites and adding new extra precautions. All three (3) of our suites have their own outdoor private entrance, private living room and kitchenette (no oven or stove), and private patio with your own BBQ and lots of fresh mountain air to enjoy.
Cancellation:
When you make your reservation directly with Inn the Woods Suites we are doing a special offer of a 24 hour cancellation policy for all direct bookings. This offer is only for guests who book directly, our 14 day cancellation policy will be for all outside booking, through Expedia, Hotels.com, etc. We encourage you to contact us directly by phone or email for up to date information about Yosemite National Park, the Oakhurst area, and our Inn.
On Arrival:
Upon your arrival we enjoy meeting and greeting our guests in person. We are happy to continue our current practice. With this new state of the world, we want to be sensitive to all our guests with your comfort level of interaction. At this time, we are offering the option of “no contact” check in with our keyless entry system and payment receipts sent electronically. We will leave directions to your room at the front desk. In your room, you will find a binder with information regarding Yosemite and the other areas near the Inn. If you arrive before 9pm, please call us to let us know you have arrived and with any questions between 7am-9pm. We live on premises, so feel free to call us during those hours.
Our facility has three private suites. Both the Mist Trail Suite and the Sentinel Dome Trail Suite offer 1 bedroom while the Panorama Trail Suite offers 2 bedrooms. Great for singles, couples, small families, large families, or groups. Each family-friendly suite features free Wi-Fi, a living room, a fully equipped kitchenette, queen size pull-out couch with gel mattress, gas fireplaces, and flat screen TVs. The suites also feature spacious master bedrooms with California king sized log beds, large private bathrooms, private outdoor patios with barbecues, and amazing views of the surrounding oak and pine forest, and mountains. A continental breakfast basket is included in your room and gives you the convenience of breakfast at your leisure.
Relaxing and enjoying time at Inn the Woods is made even better at the end of your day with a visit to our separate and common-use game room known as “Mike’s Mancave”. Guests are welcome to use the pool table, ping pong table, shuffleboard, table games, TV, and DVDs to watch or borrow during your stay. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor seating and gas fire pit.
Yosemite’s Inn the Woods Suites, is family owned and operated and managed by Sherilee Nimon, who runs our sister facility, Nature’s Inn Bed and Breakfast.
